Agoria, the federation of the Belgian technological industry, brings together and defends the interests of over 1,600 member companies (80 per cent of which are SMEs) in the following sectors: Aerospace, Automotive, Construction Products, Contracting & Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mechatronical Engineering, Metal Processing, Metals & Materials, Mounting & Cranes, Plastics and Composites and Security & Defence.

These 13 sectors of the Belgian technological industry employ nearly 300.000 people. They design, make and sell products and services worth over 82 billion euros. They account for more than a quarter of the added value of Belgian industry as a whole.

Agoria supports its members by giving them information, advice and practical help. Its staff members are experts in many fields: social regulation, economics, legal and fiscal matters, technology, standardisation, innovation and R&D, training, energy, environment, sustainable development, security at work…
Agoria also takes various initiatives to develop the business of its members in Belgium and abroad.
